Quickstart

  1. Sign up. Your API key is shown once on the dashboard. Store it.
  2. Call the API. Every call needs Authorization: Bearer <key>.
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer ak_live_..." \

  1. Read the headers. X-Cost is what this call charged in euro cents, X-Balance what is left on your key. The first fetch of a company costs 10 cents and unlocks it for 30 days; every later call about it is free.

New companies in a sector and a town

One call: every incorporation in Ghent whose activity falls under NACE 56 (restaurants, bars, catering). activity takes one or more NACE-BEL 2025 prefixes separated by commas (56, 56.1,56.3, 49,52,53 for logistics), municipality takes the Dutch or French name. There is no time window: add occurred_after=2026-09-01 to start at a date.

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer ak_live_..." \
  "https://api.akribi.dev/v1/events?type=company.incorporated&municipality=gent&activity=56"

Each item is a stub: the company's id, name, legal form and place, plus data.activities with each code's source, kbo for the official code or deed for a code read from the incorporation deed. About 70% of incorporations carry a sector in their first week. A feed page is a search: it costs nothing and counts one against your weekly quota. To read the deed facts, unlock the company:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer ak_live_..." \
  https://api.akribi.dev/v1/companies/be:1044404938

The response carries incorporation with purpose, capital_eur, founders_count, premises and the deed-read activities with their confidence, next to the registry contact.
