Identity
Every Belgian company has one canonical ID: be: followed by the 10-digit enterprise number, which always starts with 0 or 1.
be:0200068636
The company path accepts these aliases and resolves them to the canonical ID:
| You send | We read |
|---|---|
be:0200068636 | canonical |
BE0200068636 | VAT format |
be0200068636 | lower-case VAT |
0200.068.636 | KBO dotted format |
0200068636 | bare digits |
Sub-resources carry their own prefixes:
| Prefix | Object |
|---|---|
company_stub | what search hits carry; its links.self is the unlock URL. Feed items carry a smaller stub under company with the same id |
est_be_<n> | establishment |
fin_be_<vat>_<fy> | financial statement, one per fiscal year |
pub_be_<n> | gazette publication |
evt_<n>, evt_g<n> | event |
grp_<n> | corporate group |
rel_d<n>, rel_s<n>, rel_i<n> | relationship (director, shareholder, interest) |
Internal warehouse IDs are never exposed. Lookup by domain: GET /v1/companies?domain=farys.be returns a list of hits, each holding the company and a match block with confidence, evidence and a verdict (match, mismatch, unverified, unknown). Only match rows are returned unless you pass include_rejected=true. Webmail and ISP domains such as gmail.com or telenet.be return an empty list.
