# Akribi: one API for Belgian company data > Every Belgian company, every public register on it, as one JSON object. Pay per company. https://akribi.dev ## Set up Sign up at https://akribi.dev/signup, verify your email, copy the key from the dashboard. Every call sends `Authorization: Bearer ak_live_...`. Base URL: https://api.akribi.dev. Reference: https://api.akribi.dev/openapi.json. Guides: https://akribi.dev/docs/quickstart, https://akribi.dev/docs/identity, https://akribi.dev/docs/plumbing, https://akribi.dev/docs/terms. The first batch has 50 seats; after that, signup shows a waitlist. ## Pricing, four rules 1. A company costs €0.10 the first time you fetch it by id. For 30 days after that, everything about it is included: the object, establishments, relationships (legal persons only), financials, events, publications, the ownership graph from it, and for a young company its incorporation profile. 2. Search and the feed are included in your key: 50 searches a week on a trial key, more on request. A search returns stubs; fetch a stub by id to unlock it. 3. You are charged only when the response is 2xx. Errors, timeouts, 404s and over-quota answers cost nothing. 4. Over the weekly search quota: 429 search_quota. Over the daily unlock cap: 429 unlock_cap. Both carry Retry-After. To raise either, mail us through https://akribi.dev/docs/terms. Headers on every response: X-Cost (euro cents charged), X-Balance (cents left). Searches add X-Searches-Remaining, unlocks add X-Unlocks-Remaining. ## The loop 1. Find: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/companies?name=... or ?domain=... or ?postal_code=...&activity=..., or watch GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/events?type=company.incorporated&province=...&activity=56. Both return stubs (id, name, status, place, NACE codes). 2. Unlock: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/companies/{id}. Accepts be:0200068636, BE0200068636, 0200.068.636. Add ?expand[]=financials&expand[]=relationships to inline the first page of each. 3. Go deeper, free inside the unlock: /establishments, /relationships, /financials, /events, /publications, /graph?depth=2. People: not in this release; relationships and the graph show companies only. 4. Page with next_cursor; pass it back unchanged. limit up to 100. ## Use cases One call each. 1. New companies in a sector and a town, every week: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/events?type=company.incorporated&municipality=gent&activity=56. Add occurred_after=. 2. A VAT number before a deal: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/companies/be:0200068636?expand[]=financials&expand[]=publications. Status, seat, legal form, annual accounts and gazette publications. 3. Who owns a prospect: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/companies/{id}/graph?depth=2. Companies only, no people. 4. Bankruptcies in a province: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/events?type=company.bankruptcy_opened&province=antwerpen. 5. A lead list by NACE and province: GET https://api.akribi.dev/v1/companies?activity=62100&province=antwerpen. Search activity is one exact code; the feed takes prefixes. Stubs are included; unlock the ones you want. ## Rules for agents - Ids and cursors are opaque and signed. Never build, edit or guess them; read them from responses. - Quote Request-Id when reporting a problem. - 4xx (except 429) means fix the request; do not retry it unchanged. 402 means the balance is empty; stop and tell the user. 429 means wait the seconds in Retry-After. - 5xx: 503 query_timeout, narrow the filters and retry once; 503 busy, wait the seconds in Retry-After and retry once; 503 maintenance, stop and retry after a minute. - Search before you unlock; unlock only what the user needs. A page of 100 incorporations is one search; unlocking all 100 is €10. - No bulk extraction, no redistribution. Keys that do are suspended. - Terms and privacy: https://akribi.dev/docs/terms. ## Coverage Belgium, 1.2M companies, live. France and the United Kingdom next. Gazette PDFs indexed from 2026-02-16.
